So we debuted a new series at Ohayocon this year, it's our Cute Animal Series. We had a few that we made up last year but I wanted to try and go back to rework the style a bit and come up with a whole new look for the series. Here's our deer piece from the series, hope you enjoy it!

as wildflowers, paths like tiny winding veins
sprung alive between them. from my balcony i watch
the sun crest slowly into afternoon,
and mothers lead their children

sage, gathering up anything with the taste
of what mystery inhabits the air—brimming over
