It's just one of those things you know? I'm not sure if it's because there just aren't enough fans telling the companies what they want, but I know from my point of view it seems like an ocean of people reaching out saying what they want and willing to empty their wallets for it, but no one is listening. This holds especially true for Final Fantasy fans, case in point when the subject of a Final Fantasy VII remake comes up. Square-Enix kinda did it to themselves with that PS3 tech demo they made way back when, getting up false hopes of a remake, but it is something fans have been asking for a long time and Square has only sorta beat around the bush about it. So with this recent news, it's probably pretty safe to say we won't see a Final Fantasy VII remake, or at least not til we see Final Fantasy XIII Versus.... or Kingdom Hearts III.... probably sometime in the next century or two. But hey, at least we're getting a FFX remake, right?
I know, right? And now with Capcom on some sort of anti-Megaman crusade it'll be tough to find anything new come from the company. They did release Legends 2 in the US at least on the PS1, though it's not easy to find, or at least not easy to find at a decent price that's for sure ;_;
Yeah, apparently it's just a re-release of the PC version with achievements and some sort of not-much-spoken-of character booster that is supposed to help you get past areas and bosses without having to level grind or something, but there isn't a whole lot of info on it yet... I don't think they've even announced a release date yet.
